In this paper they review how digital spaces – social networks, forums, online communities or learning platforms – are giving rise to hybrid and flexible identities.
💬 Some conclusions that seem key:
➡️ The Internet offers learners the possibility to experiment with multiple "linguistic selves", adapting their voice to different digital contexts.
➡️ Minority languages and non-normative varieties gain presence and value in these digital environments.
➡️ Learning ceases to be a one-way process to become a space for interaction, negotiation and identity creation.
